Creating Tranquility Through Colors and Spatial Layers

The entrance space of the Blue Tone apartment is ingeniously planned to incorporate both the kitchen and foyer. The kitchen cabinets act as a partition, providing a seamless transition to the dining room. This clever layout eliminates the restrictions imposed by the size of the area, creating a sense of openness and spaciousness.

The high cabinets in the kitchen serve as a border to the dining room, offering a gradual amplified effect between the spaces. This design choice breaks the limitations of the venue's size and provides an elegant dining space in a small corner. The back wall of the living room is adorned with a peaceful ink blue color, creating a tranquil color tone that complements the wooden dining table and flooring.

The end view of the Blue Tone apartment is carefully curated with meticulously arranged stone flower pots on the balcony and large plants with delicate leaves outside the building. These elements highlight the calm and natural ambiance of the indoors, bringing a touch of nature into the living space.

The overall television wall of the Blue Tone apartment features polished cloud marble, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. The raised ceiling and various types of media create a modern yet natural sensation. The warm color tone, combined with the cold ink blue, gives the longitudinal space a spacious and inviting feel. The delicate arrangement of furniture and decor makes the space the center of life, without being overly ostentatious.

Located in Taichung City, Taiwan, the Blue Tone apartment project was completed on April 26, 2019. The design team, led by director Hsin Yuan Lee, carefully researched and incorporated spatial layers and colors to create a harmonious and functional living space.

The Blue Tone apartment design was recognized for its outstanding creativity and ingenuity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that demonstrate exceptional technical and creative skills, contributing to improvements in quality of life.
